RECENT SUCCESS STORY:
“We screened Pedal Driven and followed it with a silent auction to raise money for a Parks and Recreation Referendum vote. We were able to raise over 50% of the Vote yes campaign’s total budget that night and it passed in the November election. This money will partially go towards capital improvements and our mayor guaranteed COGGS $100,000 per year for the Duluth Traverse. This is additional to the [($250,000] Legacy grant!
Also, at the movie we had several freeride folks who had been anti-COGGS who attended and it seemed to build a lot of good will and understanding. Everyone who saw the movie enjoyed it and I would say it helped with local relations substantially. Thanks!”
~ Adam Sundberg – Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS).

FAQ
Q: WHAT KIND OF VENUE SHOULD WE CHOOSE?
A: Use whatever works for the size group you think you can draw. Pedal-Driven has played at theaters big and small, churches, pubs, a state park, an elementary school, a barn, and even at a knitting factory. Use your imagination, it doesn’t have to be fancy to be a great show.
Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A: The screening fee is 25% of ticket sales for IMBA groups and 35% for non-IMBA groups, with a $200 non-refundable deposit that is applied toward the percentage. The rest is yours to keep or donate as you like. As a 501(c)(3) project, all proceeds will benefit sustainable trail development and land stewardship projects.
Q: HOW DO WE CHOOSE A DATE?
A: We suggest you give yourself at least a month to promote your show, and do your best to avoid booking it on the same day as another big event in your town.
Q: WHAT IS THE FORMAT FOR PROJECTION?
A: Pedal-Driven is available in DVD and Quicktime HD for screenings. It is not currently available in 35mm or BluRay, but this may change.
Q: WHEN SHOULD WE LET YOU KNOW?
A: ASAP. The sooner you let us know, the sooner we can help you get the word out.
Q: HOW DO WE PROMOTE?
A: We provide template posters, you fill in the details and print (if you want) or post online. We also provide a template press release for you to customize. Get creative – use Facebook, Twitter, make a blog post, contact the local newspaper columnist who wrote a story about bike trails last week. The most successful shows are put on by groups that have members who are actively involved in promoting.
Q: HOW DO WE SELL TICKETS?
A: Brown Paper Tickets is a company we’ve used that provides an affordable ticketing solution.
Q: IS PEDAL-DRIVEN APPROPRIATE TO SHOW TO OUR LAND MANAGERS?
A: YES! Pedal-Driven is an Official Partner of the United States Forest Service, and is a great tool to share with your land managers, no matter the country.
Q: IS THERE A LOT OF RIDING IN THE FILM?
A: There are several great riding scenes with talented amateur and semi-pro riders.
