Sept. 28, ‘09: Shimano signs on at InterBike!
The fine folks at Shimano joined the ride during the annual Interbike conference in Las Vegas last week, becoming our single largest sponsor to date. Shimano, as a company, has invested heavily in research around the impact and sustainability of mountain biking. We, of course, are thrilled to have them as the newest partner in the Pedal-Driven project.
Sept. 24, ‘09: IMBA breakfast features new Pedal-Driven Trailer
IMBA hosted a standing-room only breakfast event at Interbike on Thursday, Sept. 24, and at the core of their presentation was a brand-new version of the Pedal-Driven trailer. We produced a special cut specifically for the event. The “Oakridge Cut” as it’s being called features an extended section outlining the successes that have been realized around mountain biking in the community of Oakridge, OR, and the work IMBA is doing there in an effort to create one of it’s first ride centers.
